• Teens are invited to go “beneath the surface” this summer and dig up some Groundbreaking Reads at The Public Library for Union County! Registration begins June 3 at the library or you can Register Online! Click on the “Beneath the Surface” tab.  Participants who read and log at least one book will be entered into a drawing for an iTunes gift card and those reading three books may choose a book to keep. Participants who read and log SEVEN books are entered into our grand prize drawing for a mall gift certificate! Books may be print-copy, eBooks or audiobooks and must be checked-out from the adult or young adult collection.

  • Hey teens, did you know that you can get your own library card? The cards, which may be used at all three Union County libraries — as well as other libraries across the state that participate in the Pennsylvania Access program — are available free of charge to resident students.
  • Simply bring a parent or legal guardian to the library, fill out a simple application form. As soon as you are done, you can check out a wide variety of books and magazines as well as lots more audiobooks and eBooks online.
