Help the library
Catalogue of Enhancements
- Quite often, library card holders and other supporters of The Public Library for Union County ask how they can help with programs or collections.
To provide ideas for funding, and to ensure that library development follows the mission defined by the Board of Trustees, director Roberta Greene and senior staff members have created a “Catalogue of Enhancements.”
The 25 projects described in this brochure will augment and improve the value of the library to the community.
None of the projects are included in the library’s operating budget — they truly are enhancements.
The 2011 Catalogue of Enhancements includes reference resources such as investment surveys, online legal forms, online health information, and online genealogical resources; general collection improvements such as special books and audio-visual materials; special children’s programming and new materials; other enhancements such as sponsorship of life-long learning presentations, volunteer recognition events, and equipment to clean and restore CDs and DVDs.
