Quite often, library card holders and other supporters of The Public Library for Union County ask how they can help with programs or collections.

To provide ideas for funding, and to ensure that library development follows the mission defined by the Board of Trustees, director Roberta Greene and senior staff members have created a “Catalogue of Enhancements.”

The 21 projects described in this brochure will augment and improve the value of the library to the community.

None of the projects are included in the library’s operating budget — they truly are enhancements.

The 2013 Catalogue of Enhancements includes reference resources such as online assistance for job seekers, online resources for genealogy research, and online test preparation resources; general collection improvements such as special books and audio-visual materials; special children’s programming and new materials; other enhancements such as sponsorship of adult programs, volunteer recognition events, and technology enhancements.
